Rock Creek Sports Complex was the site of a competitive game between the Rockville Superbas and Newark Gunners.
The Rockville Superbas got a superb performance from left fielder Emílio Reyna. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Newark. The Gunners won the game, 4-2. Reyna was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. The victory gives Newark a record of 24-22.
Newark shortstop Lewis Johnstone made an impact. He drilled a 2-run single in the top of the second. For the game, Johnstone was 1 for 3. He drove in 2 runs.
