Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Rockville Superbas and Poughkeepsie Sheriffs.
Rockville starter Ambrose Sanders pitched well against the Poughkeepsie Sheriffs at Sheriffs Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. The win has Rockville at 21-31.
Having an impact for Rockville was Dale Mooney. In the top of the seventh inning, the 31-year old first baseman had a solo home run to make the score 2-1, Superbas.
Sanders told a Rockville Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
