Sheriffs Edge Past Grays, 3-2

The Poughkeepsie Sheriffs picked up a win at Grays Ballpark, courtesy of Tyler Frisby. The right-hander helped his team stop the Washington Grays, 3-2. Dermot Hollis, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. The loss drops the Grays to 7-9.
Poughkeepsie relied on the hitting of Joel Lewis to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sheriffs on top, 3-2. For the game, Lewis had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Frisby.
