Gunners Walk It Off for 11th Win of Season
|
Newark starter Ambrosi Gabrieli put a stranglehold on the Rockville offense. The right-hander had complete command of his curveball in leading the Gunners to a 2-1 win. Rockville falls to 5-12.
Earl Willard was the walk-off hero for Newark. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Gunners third baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Gabrieli said after the game.
