Bucks Fall Short, 5-4, at Fredericton
|
Moncton third baseman Shigeru Rin was sensational. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Fredericton beat the Bucks, 5-4. The loss puts Moncton at 2-2.
Miguel Dicochea came through for Fredericton when he hit a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-2 fastball to center field, staking his team to a 5-4 lead.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Dicochea.
