The Moncton Bucks beat the Saint John Sasquatches, 3-2, at Resurgo Stadium. Moncton catcher Juan Tornero had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles. Moncton reliever Gerry Colenutt got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Haroun Al Rachid Awad was tagged with the loss. The win puts Moncton at 6-6.

Manuel Aguilar was the walk-off hero for Moncton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bucks third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Aguilar said.
