Arran Ainslie left his imprint on the 15-2 Halifax win against the Fredericton Salamanders. Ainslie hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Halifax pitcher Jason Murdoch got the win. He's now 2-0. Aubrey Gray was tagged with the loss. The loss drops the Salamanders to 5-7.

Ainslie had a key at-bat for Halifax early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Halifax an early 3-0 lead.

"We took it on the chin today," said losing manager Chris Mills.
