Saint John Gets 4-0 Win Behind Lefty Chacón
|
The Saint John Sasquatches topped the Providence Steamrollers, 4-0, in Northern League action at Saint John Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Saint John pitcher Jesús Chacón. Kieran Mortlock earned the save for Saint John, his 1st of the year. Providence falls to 7-8.
In his 101-pitch effort, Chacón allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 5.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Chacón.
