Providence Steamrollers starter Roberto Colón turned in a top-notch performance against the Moncton Bucks at Resurgo Stadium. The result was a win for the Steamrollers, 3-1. Tom Threlfall earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-2. Providence has now won 3 in a row.

Providence needed the clutch hitting of Brian O'Hanraghan to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Steamrollers on top, 2-1. For the game, O'Hanraghan had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
