The Bangor Lumberjacks picked up a win at Lumberjacks Ballpark, knocking off the Moncton Bucks, 3-2. On the mound for Bangor was right-hander Fletcher Burns, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Lumberjacks now have a record of 13-16 with the win over Moncton.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, António Sosa went deep for the Lumberjacks. With Bangor trailing 2-0, he drilled a 2-run home run.
"Winning never gets dull," said Burns.
