Golden Giants Take Down Salamanders, 2-1
The Halifax Golden Giants did just enough to sneak past the Fredericton Salamanders, 2-1, at Golden Giants Stadium. Halifax pitcher Fernando Almuina, in particular, had a standout performance. The win elevated the Golden Giants to 14-14.

Hadad Bahir was the walk-off hero for Halifax. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Golden Giants catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

Bahir called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
