Late Rally by Steamrollers Secures 5-4 Win
The Halifax Golden Giants got a superb performance from pitcher John Bryant. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Providence. The Steamrollers won the game, 5-4. Bryant threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Gilberto Ramírez earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. The Steamrollers raised their record to 14-17.

Providence took a 5-4 lead on Tom Threlfall's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Halifax pitcher Louis Hutchinson in the top of the ninth.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Threlfall. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
