Already down in the The King's Cup, the Moncton Bucks put on their best show, beating the Truro United by a final score of 12-10 today. Christos Maximos earned player of the game honors, as he was 4-4 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Moncton now trails Truro 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Clyde Girard aided the Moncton cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 5. He drove in 2 runs.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Girard said.

Game 4 is set to be played on Tuesday, September 4th, 1956 at Bucks Ballpark. Slated to start are Miles Peckford for Truro and Craig Corderey for Moncton.
