Bucks Turn Back Sasquatches, 6-4
|
The Moncton Bucks topped the Saint John Sasquatches, 6-4, with third baseman Shigeru Rin playing a big role. Rin was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs for the Bucks in the win. José Guerra recorded the save, his 5th. The win elevated the Bucks to 20-11.
Manuel Aguilar, the Moncton first baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 4-2, Bucks. For the game, Aguilar went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"We take it day by day here," said Aguilar, "and today was a good one for us."
