Bangor and Providence duked it out and the Lumberjacks came out victorious.

Bangor picked up a win at Lumberjacks Ballpark, toppling the Providence Steamrollers, 6-4. Pitcher Sugimoto Kato was one of the reasons the Lumberjacks triumphed. The Lumberjacks now have a record of 16-20 with the win over Providence.

Dan Bradshaw was 3 for 5 with 3 singles for Bangor. The 29-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring single off Edgar Alba. It was his 53rd hit of the season.

"We think we're a good team overall, so we're not too surprised to win today," said Bradshaw.
