Fredericton starter Todd Baldwin had a strong outing against the Halifax Golden Giants at Golden Giants Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Fredericton is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Having an impact for Fredericton was José Herrera. In the top of the fourth inning, the 29-year old catcher had a 2-run single to make the score 4-1, Salamanders.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Baldwin said.
