Golden Giants Lose Again, 6-3, to Bucks
Moncton and Halifax duked it out and the Bucks came out victorious.

Moncton designated hitter Troy Baker was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Halifax Golden Giants. He went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Moncton. Moncton reliever Scott Cove picked up the win, raising his record to 5-3. Jason Murdoch was tagged with the loss.

Baker came through for Moncton with a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh. He hit a 2-2 fastball to left field, staking his team to a 4-3 lead.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Anthony Puhl, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."

The Golden Giants have now dropped 7 straight.
