Sasquatches Earn 4-3 Win Versus Bucks
Despite a fine performance by first baseman Les Young, the Moncton Bucks lost to the Saint John Sasquatches, 4-3. Young was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Saint John reliever Donald Moore picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. José Guerra absorbed the loss. The win gives Saint John a season record of 50-35.

Patrick Matthews clinched the win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the tenth. In the game, the Saint John left fielder went 1-1.

"This place was rocking at the end," Matthews said.
