6-2 Loss Extends Providence Skid
|
Halifax right fielder Tolek Budrewicz had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental in his team beating the Providence Steamrollers, 6-2. Budrewicz picked up 1 single and 1 double in the ballgame. The losses continue to mount for Providence, which has now dropped 10 in a row.
Budrewicz had no bigger at-bat than in the bottom of the second when the two-time All-Star hit a bases-clearing double. The double gave Halifax the lead, 4-0. It was his 21st double of the season.
"This losing is getting old," said Providence manager Matt Haynes.
