Big Day for Jewell in 9-3 Golden Giants Win
|
The Halifax Golden Giants bested the Saint John Sasquatches, 9-3, at Saint John Stadium. Dale Jewell was one of the standouts. He went 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 4 runs. David Marroquín got credit for the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. The win elevated the Golden Giants to 52-43.
