The Bangor Lumberjacks went down to defeat to António Castro and his Moncton teammates. The final score was 2-0 in favor of the Bucks. With the win, Moncton raised its record to 66-42.
An important at-bat for the Bucks came in the bottom of the sixth, when second baseman Francis Mullock stroked a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Moncton. For the day, Mullock was 2 for 4 with a double.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Moncton manager Joel Odenbach.
