The Moncton Bucks defeated the Saint John Sasquatches, 6-4, at Saint John Stadium today. Leading the charge for Moncton was third baseman Marcos García. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Trevor Leduc picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Héctor Pérez was tagged with the loss. Scott Cove converted his 11th save in 15 tries.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when García hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Bucks into the lead, 4-3.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said García.

The Bucks have an impressive 71-44 record.
