In a pivotal Game , the Poughkeepsie Sheriffs were hoping for a big game from starter Alexander Wiesner. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the Reynosa Broncos, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 1-0 victory. The Sheriffs took the 1-0 win over the Reynosa Broncos to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
