Almost There: El Paso On Cusp of ST Triumph After 1-0 Win

The El Paso Potros have a critical edge over the Fredericton Salamanders in the Sunset Trophy, thanks to the veteran arm of Orlando Trujillo.
Trujillo, 38, put on a dominant performance at El Paso Grounds today, leading the Potros to victory, 1-0, in a pivotal Game . El Paso is now one game away from the Sunset Trophy, leading the best-of- series by a margin of - . Fredericton will need to win both remaining games to advance.
El Paso's win came gift-wrapped. With two out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Immel Dini reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Dini. "And not try to do too much."
The next game is set to be played Saturday in Fredericton. The scheduled starters for the game are Farid bin Nawaf for the El Paso Potros and Luis Martínez for the the Fredericton Salamanders.
