Providence second baseman Tyco Flats was the key at Ballpark of Reynosa today, being named player of the game as he powered the Steamrollers to victory in a critical Game of the ACB Championship. The Steamrollers took the 20-5 win over the Reynosa Broncos to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Providence third baseman Dave Gardner delivered a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth. Overall, he went 4 for 6, including 1 home run, 2 singles, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 6.

"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Gardner. "And vice-versa."
