Already down in the ACB Championship, the Moncton Bucks put on their best show, beating the Saint John Sasquatches by a final score of 3-2 today. Habimana Zuri earned player of the game honors, as he threw 8 innings allowing 3 runs. Moncton now trails Saint John 4-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

The Bucks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Xenophon Zahakis turned a 1-1 curveball from Habimana Zuri into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Moncton a thrilling 3-2 win.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Moncton manager Joel Odenbach said.
