Division Finals Goes the Distance, Newark Prevails
|
The Newark Gunners and Philadelphia Haymakers hooked up in a classic Division Finals that went right down to the wire.
In the end, it's Newark heading off to the ACB Championship, after a 5-4 win at The Armory tonight earned the 4-3 series win.
Outside The Armory, whether they were supporters of Newark or Philadelphia, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget.
Zi-xing Que played the hero for the Gunners in the series, as his MVP performance included a .300 batting average, with a .364 on-base percentage. He also had 3 home runs, 8 RBI and scored 7 runs.
The Newark Gunners will play against the Saint John Sasquatches in the next round. Saint John won their series against the Moncton Bucks 4 games to 0. The ACB Championship schedule will be announced after the Division Finals finishes.\n
