Almost There: Rockville On Cusp of ACBC Triumph After 2-1 Win

The Rockville Superbas have a critical edge over the Edinburgh Scots in the ACB Championship, thanks to the veteran arm of Lorne Burton.
Burton, 31, put on a dominant performance at Rock Creek Sports Complex today, leading the Superbas to victory, 2-1, in a pivotal Game . Rockville is now one game away from the ACB Championship, leading the best-of- series by a margin of - . Edinburgh will need to win both remaining games to advance.
Rockville's win came gift-wrapped. With one out in the bottom of the tenth, with the game tied, Warren Simpson reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.
"This place was rockin'," said Simpson.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Rock Creek Sports Complex in Rockville. The scheduled starters for the game are Jim Barnes for Edinburgh and Tsuginori Osada for Rockville.
