Sheriffs Hammered by Nakagawa, Fall Further Behind in ST
Dallas left fielder Hikaru Nakagawa was the key at Citi Field today, being named player of the game as he powered the Marvels to victory in a critical Game of the Sunset Trophy. The Marvels took the 9-6 win over the Poughkeepsie Sheriffs to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Tekalgn Oluoch came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Poughkeepsie pitcher Ĺke Drusse, he hit a 0-2 changeup for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Dallas on top, 7-6.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Dallas manager Ernesto Caboverde.

Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow. Slated to start are Chao Men for the Poughkeepsie Sheriffs and Mike Murphy for the the Dallas Marvels.
