Kiyomizu, Cardiff Start TBL Classic Strong with Home Win
Cardiff Alliance center fielder Yoshii Kiyomizu was the difference-maker at Bute Park Cardiff City Stadium today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the TBL Classic. The Alliance took the 10-9 win over the Newark Gunners to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Gareth Gyte contributed to the Cardiff win. The 1983 King's Newcomer of the Year winner stroked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, Gyte went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It's a big deal," Kiyomizu said of the win. "If we had gone to 0- , we're pretty much out of it."
