Almost There: Saint John On Cusp of ACBC Triumph After 6-0 Win
The Saint John Sasquatches have a critical edge over the Cardiff Alliance in the ACB Championship, thanks to the veteran arm of Taweel bin Qaraja.

bin Qaraja, 36, put on a dominant performance at Bute Park Cardiff City Stadium today, leading the Sasquatches to victory, 6-0, in a pivotal Game . Saint John is now one game away from the ACB Championship, leading the best-of- series by a margin of - . Cardiff will need to win both remaining games to advance.

bin Qaraja, who was born in Madaba, Jordan, threw 72 pitches over 5.1 innings, while allowing no earned runs.

"We haven't forgotten how long this series might be, but is a heck of a lot better than - ," bin Qaraja said.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow in Cardiff. The scheduled starters for the game are Héctor Pérez for the Saint John Sasquatches and Tomás Vargas for the the Cardiff Alliance.
