Professional North Atlantic Baseball Trophy To Sasquatches, Top Alliance In Finals
It was a storybook year for the Saint John Sasquatches as they closed out a 5-4 series win over the Cardiff Alliance to claim the Professional North Atlantic Baseball Championship.

They wrapped it up with a 4-3 victory to cap an incredible season after they brought home their 13th league championship earlier in the year.

The Sasquatches manager offered his view of the series.

"We had a lot of things going for us," he said, "offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win it all."

The Alliance manager commented: "We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year. They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

During the Northern League regular season, Saint John compiled a record of 92-40.
