Home Field Advantage: Holmes, Rockville Open ACB Championship with Win
The Rockville Superbas moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the visiting Saint John Sasquatches at Rock Creek Sports Complex by a score of 7-5. Superbas right-hander Kevin Holmes was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 9 innings allowing 5 runs. The win gives the Superbas a - advantage in the best-of- ACB Championship.

In the bottom of the seventh, Rockville third baseman Tulu Dunde had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Dunde stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 6-3, Rockville. For the game, he was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.

"Kevin's tempo and rhythm were good," said Superbas manager Ray DeRoy. "He was the key to us winning."
