Golden Giants on to ACB Championship
The Halifax Golden Giants bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a ACB Championship championship.

Halifax downed the Saint John Sasquatches 11-3 tonight at Golden Giants Stadium, to take the Division Finals 4-1.

"It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Dale Jewell, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the Atlantic Coast Baseball."

For the series, Jewell had 7 hits for .333, with a .364 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Halifax Golden Giants don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Philadelphia Haymakers - Poughkeepsie Sheriffs series. Philadelphia leads the series 3 games to 1. The ACB Championship schedule will be announced after the Division Finals finishes.
