Already down in the Division Finals, the Moncton Bucks put on their best show, beating the Saint John Sasquatches by a final score of 9-5 today. Alberto León earned player of the game honors, as he went 4-4 with 4 singles. Moncton now trails Saint John 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Moncton relied on the hitting of Wop Ouwens to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bucks on top, 7-3. For the game, Ouwens had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ouwens.
