The Saint John Sasquatches moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the Moncton Bucks on the road at Resurgo Stadium by a score of 7-4. Sasquatches catcher Donald Dickinson was named player of the game after he was 1-3 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. The win gives the Sasquatches a - advantage in the best-of- ACB Championship.

Saint John used the clutch hitting of Carlos Hickling to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Sasquatches the lead, 6-4. For the game, Hickling had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Saint John manager Jason Russell.

The next game is scheduled for Tuesday in Saint John. The scheduled starters for the game are António Castro for Moncton and Jesús Chacón for Saint John.
