Almost There: Moncton On Cusp of ACBC Triumph After 10-5 Win
The Moncton Bucks moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the Reynosa Broncos on the road at Ballpark of Reynosa by a score of 10-5. Bucks third baseman Aatto Sala was named player of the game after he was 3-5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win gives the Bucks a - advantage in the best-of- ACB Championship.

The result might have been different for Moncton, had it not been for Jorge Flores. The shortstop produced a run-scoring ground out in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bucks ahead, 4-3. For the game, Flores had 1 double and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We're happy," Flores told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Scott Cove for the Moncton Bucks and Harry Bridgman for the the Reynosa Broncos.
