Simpson's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Tuesday, September 3rd, 1991 Rockville got some bad news today concerning second baseman Warren Simpson. He is recovering from shoulder tendinitis. Club doctors have extended his time of return to 2 weeks, saying his injury has not responded well to treatment. It is worse than they first diagnosed. Simpson is hitting .285 in 1991 with 55 RBIs and 10 home runs. |
