Trojans, Serrano Stonewall Rochester, 10-0 Saturday, September 14th, 1991 Today was Aurelio Serrano's turn in the rotation for the Troy Trojans and he made the most of it, shutting out the Rochester Redbirds on 7 hits. The 30-year-old right-hander led the Trojans to an easy 10-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 6 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Rochester manager Tim Hill said. "Serrano certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds." This year Serrano has a 4-1 record and a 2.01 ERA. |
