Louisville Narrowly Wins
Friday, September 5th, 1975
Bruce Brown of the Louisville Cubs said he'll remember his team's 1975 championship for the rest of his life.
"To pull it out by only one game, it's pretty memorable," the starting pitcher said. "Something to tell the grand kids one day."
The team's record sits at 49-19 and the division title is the 10th in team history.
Team manager Thibault Jarry said "it would mean so much to Louisville" to bring the 9th Ohio River Baseball championship home.
"It's Round 1 or bust at this point," he said.
