Another Setback For Truro's Gavriil Aplechnev Friday, July 19th, 1991 The road to recovery is going to be a little longer for Truro second baseman Gavriil Aplechnev. The team announced today that Aplechnev suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will not return to the roster for at least 5 days. He is being treated for a strained back muscle. Presently Aplechnev is hitting .303 with 15 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 59 games and scored 40 times. |
