Trouble in Liverpool, Lwanga Suffers Setback Saturday, August 30th, 1975 The Liverpool AC received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Thair Lwanga would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Lwanga, who is currently out with a sore knee, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 24-year-old second baseman will have to spend another 6 days in treatment. In 1975 Lwanga has hit at a .283 clip with 39 hits, 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and has scored 15 times. |
