Steelhounds Luis Torres to Miss Year Thursday, September 5th, 1991 When Luis Torres was hurt against the Owen Sound Beavers, the Atikokan Steelhounds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 27-year-old left fielder suffered a ruptured achilles tendon running the bases in yesterday's game.
