Bats Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 7th, 1991 Did anyone think the Timmins Bats had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Timmins last appeared in the postseason in 1976. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 72 times in their 80-year history. Timmins has won the Round 1 3 times in their history. |
