Sudbury Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, September 9th, 1991 They have certainly not struck fear into the hearts of any other Northern Ontario League teams this season and as of today the Sudbury Air Aces are officially out of the race for the postseason. The Air Aces have missed the playoffs 61 times in their 80 years as a Northern Ontario League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 16th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1974. Sudbury last won the Round 1 in 1975. |
