Grenier Goes 5-for-6 Against West Nipissing
Tuesday, September 10th, 1991
Ken Grenier had an answer for everything the West Nipissing Potros threw at him today at Potros Ballpark. The Timmins first baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Bats on top, 21-7.
Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Grenier said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
Ken Grenier singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
In 15 games this year Grenier has posted a .400 average and put up these numbers: 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
