Czeszyk Tames Greyhounds, 10-0 Monday, July 22nd, 1991 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Team Greyhounds as starter Maczysz Czeszyk shut out the Team Greyhounds 10-0 at Greyhounds Ballpark. The Flin FLon pitcher struck out 1 and walked 2 while allowing 2 hits. "Czeszyk was good but he wasn't flawless," Team manager Brad Gorringe said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Flin FLon, but this is on us." His record for the year is 5-6 in 11 starts and Czeszyk has a 4.30 ERA. |
