Moine Silences Regina, 10-0 Wednesday, July 24th, 1991 It wasn't easy but the Team Blue Raiders made it look that way. Starter Damien Moine shut out the Regina Yeti despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Team Blue Raiders cruised to victory, 10-0. Moine allowed only 4 hits and rang up 2 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." This season Moine has a 8-4 record with a 3.61 ERA. |
