Regina Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Thursday, September 5th, 1991 After a tough year, the Regina Yeti have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Regina area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 35th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1956. In total, the Yeti have missed the playoffs 76 times in their 80-year history. Regina last won the Round 1 in 1956. |
