Chiwocha Rewarded with 1991 RCS Letterman of the Year

Fasilidas Chiwocha of the Dalhousie University Tigers had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Letterman of the Year for 1991.

The 18-year-old left fielder put up a .360 average and a .462 on-base percentage, piling up 40 hits, 6 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 16 runs scored.

He received 2 first place votes out of a possible 4. Carl Terry of the Dalhousie University Tigers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Muti bin Wasim of the Memorial University Seahawks finished third.
